Does a filtered shower head really make a difference?
Yes, especially in hard-water areas like most of Gauteng, the Free State and the Northern Cape. The 20-stage filter reduces chlorine, sediment and heavy metals before the water touches you. Most people feel softer water on the first shower and see smoother, shinier hair within two weeks.
Will it fit my shower?
It fits any standard ½-inch (G½) shower arm, which is what almost every South African bathroom uses. If your shower head unscrews from a pipe coming out of the wall, Gleame will fit.
How do I install it?
Twist off your old shower head, wrap the included thread tape around the pipe and screw Gleame on by hand. About a minute, no tools, no plumber.
Will it lower my water pressure?
No. The 90 silicone nozzles keep a strong, even spray. If pressure ever drops over time, rub the nozzles with your thumb to clear any scale.
How often do I change the filter?
Up to every 6 months, depending on your water and how often you shower. The first filter comes fitted.
How long does delivery take?
